If you’re getting introduced to a new squad, you wanna make an impression. Franky made his debut with the Dickies squad a memorable one. The video they made is insane this guy has got to be crazy an amazing skater and is doing this shit.
RIP Nipsey Hussle
Nipsey, who as we now know, was shot in broad daylight outside his store in LA on Sunday evening, had causes he’d undoubtedly sacrificed a lot for. But I can’t accept that he was supposed to go the way that he did. Over nothing. I know I’m not God, and even though I believe in one, I can’t wrap my mind around divine order being involved in such a heinous departure. But as so many of us stumble through this heavy mourning, the stories Nipsey left behind illuminate his essence and legacy.
Thrasher Magazine PHXAM 2019
The 18th annual Phoenix Am sponsored by Cowtown and Vans brought the top ams from all over the world into the frying pan of Central Arizona. With over 200 competitors, a Ben Horton art show and live music featuring Redman and Method Man of the Wu-Tang Clan, all in attendance were guaranteed a fired-up good time and an equally heated sunburn.
Death Match- Thrasher Magazine
Austin hosted another Death Match it was a fun three whole days of skating, music, and competitions. The pit was lit, the ramp went ballistic, and we all raged in the name of Jake Phelps
Airpods 2 Disappointment
Nothing new here apart from some cosmetic tweaks to the wireless charging case. The charging light is on the front of the case, rather than on the inside, presumably so you can see it easier when the case is lying on a wireless charging pad. The new AirPods are still only available in white.
You get the same touch controls on both so you can play and pause tracks or answer calls from the AirPods. They both also share the same sensors that know when the pod is in your ear.
Adam22 Threatened With Gun
Adam22 or better known as No jumper was threatened with a gun during the “No Jumper” podcast when a hand pointing a gun suddenly enters the frame. In the video, Grandmaison tries to push away the weapon. “Give me all your f***ing money,” a voice says as the YouTuber appears to laugh, seemingly not sure if it is a prank.
Apple Wireless Charging Pad
Rumors going around that a wireless charging pad will be coming out in the next few days. The Qi as it is supposedly called will be able to charge three devices at once including the new airpods that came out yesterday if you buy the version with that has that capability to do that. You will be able to set your phone, apple watch, and airpods on this they will all charge. This will not come cheap though as suspected it will upwards of 150 dollars basically for a charger. But it is a very cool addition.
Ric Flair Rap Industry
The age-old idiom in the past told us that most athletes wanted to be rappers, and that most rappers wanted to be athletes. While there have certainly been ample cases to prove the fact – including cross-pollination by the likes of Shaquille O’Beal, Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant and Damian Lillard from the NBA into the world of rap music, and Master P, 2 Chainz, Cam’ron and The Game from the world of hip-hop flirting with NBA aspirations, there may have to be an addendum made to the theory.
Moreso than maybe ever before, rappers are providing evidence through their lyrics, sartorial garb and inflated personas that they want to be Ric Flair – the sequin clad, square-jawed wrestling legend who continues to be as culturally relevant as he was over forty years ago.
Airpods 2
The long-awaited AirPods 2 could launch as soon as this week, with Apple having just rolled out the new iPad Air (2019) and iPad mini (2019). It seems to be launching new hardware ahead of its March 25 video streaming launch event.
How can we be so sure it’ll come in early 2019? While the AirPods 2 haven’t yet been officially announced by Tim Cook, thanks to some trademark and Bluetooth SIG filings, we know they’re very close – and they might be radically different from the AirPods we’ve all come to know and love.
R Kelly Case
The girls, a dozen of them 15 to 18 years old, file into a conference room in a downtown Brooklyn office building, taking seats in chairs carefully arranged in a circle. On the floor in front of them is a makeshift altar of comforting objects: A string of Christmas lights, plastic toys and dolls, oils and crystals, a glitter-filled wand.
They arrive at the end of a school day in their usual hoodies and jeans, their smiles and easy banter masking the painful experiences that bring them together: This group is called “Sisters in Strength,” and its members are survivors of sexual violence, or their allies and supporters. In conclusion R Kelly is a monster and should be gone forever
